Rosa De Santis
Although new to the dental industry, I bring with me a passion for helping people and a constant desire to learn new things and face new challenges. I have many years of experience working in administrative roles. I have enjoyed years of working with Barrie’s senior community at one of Barrie’s elite retirement homes. I’m always supportive and enjoy the time I’ve spent with the residents and their families, always being mindful and respectful of their individual and specific needs and concerns.
I have also worked many years in other administrative roles that have given me a great level of experience. I worked alongside medical professionals and also within the financial sector. I was a very proud and acknowledged employee of the Royal Bank of Canada for many years.
Personally I am a wife and proud mother. I was a hockey mom for many years spending my weekend mornings with my son at the hockey rink. I have been present, supportive, and very proud of my daughter at all her singing and dance classes and recitals. I love to cook. I have been cooking traditional Italian recipes since my mother taught me as a young teenager and have also learned many traditional Portuguese recipes since being married.
Caitlyn is a Level 2 Dental Assistant and graduated from Niagara College in Welland, Ontario in 2019. She has been a part of our team since she was a new graduate. Caitlyn is also attending Georgian College in the fall of 2020 to further pursue her career in Dental as a Dental Hygienist. In her spare time, Caitlyn enjoys shopping and hiking with her family at her cottage.
Dental Assistant, currently attending college at Oxford College of arts, business, and technology studying Intra Oral Dental Assisting. I will be graduating in September 2020 and obtaining my certification shortly after. I chose a career in dental assisting because it has always been something that has fascinated me since I was young. Dental offices are such inviting and friendly places and I wanted to be apart of that. I also wanted a career that my kids would be proud of. When I’m not working I’m doing school work and being a mom. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to work alongside the dental team at Park Place Dental.
When I was young I moved to Barrie with my parents and I have lived here for nearly 30 years. I have seen Barrie grow so much over the years and love calling this my home and raising my son here. After working in retail as a store manager for 10 years, I chose to go to Georgian college in Orillia to become a level 2 dental assistant, graduating in 2011. I truly enjoy working with people, I want to make sure everyone who comes to the office feels comfortable.
